So easy to build! The magnetic connectors are a game changer. The red is closer to ironman red/cherry red than I thought, but it still looks great.
I configured it with the carbon fiber plate, all foams, gateron milky yellow pro switches, and thick pbt keycaps in the xda profile. It sounds fantastic, like a quasi-muted clack that just makes me want to keep typing.
Note: lubing the stabilizers is an absolute must for this build, if you aren't already doing it for all your builds.
But bottom line: if you dont have a Neo70, what are you even doing with your life? (Just kidding, but seriously, get one)
Built this with a POM plate, all foams and HMX Raw and it’s a poppy-clacky dream. My other boards are gonna get jealous with how much I’m going to use the Neo70!
It sounds amazing, also I love the hotswap PCB layout options.
A great keyboard for the price and so simple to put together. Great sounding board with and without foam
Easy to build and sounds great in multiple configurations.
Love it so much. Saving up for an ergo too!
Qwertykeys and their team was fast to answer any support inquiries and the actual product was top notch quality. Only one complaint: the hot swap sockets are really poor quality and they loose a tight connection after a few swaps.
Hi there! Thank you very much for your feedback—I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the Neo70! Just wanted to let you know that if the metal leaves are loose, they can be adjusted. Simply use pointed tweezers to push them back into shape, and they'll grip the switch pins tightly again. Here’s a guide for your reference: https://qwertykeys.notion.site/Passed-the-Tweezer-Test-but-Doesn-t-Work-with-Switches-Installed-80f37f5dedf94b798319f016a9f8dbea?pvs=4
I ordered the Neo70 from qwertykeys, quick shipping and prompt replies to my queries. A couple of things, saw a scratch on my back weight, there could be a protective cover on the back weight to prevent that. Another thing which can be better is that lube can be included which is enough for stabs as they sound not the best unlubed.
Hi there! Thank you for your valuable feedback. We've previously explored the option of including lubricant, but due to its classification as a liquid for air freight, it incurs higher shipping expenses and faces more stringent shipping regulations, particularly when shipped with lithium batteries. As a result, we've had to set this idea aside for now :(
